Project Management and Contract Administration Aspects

  • Fortnightly project meetings with the Contractor and Client’s representative. Preparation of meeting minutes and issue to all parties.

  • Review and assessment of Extension of Time claims and Variations.

  • Verification of quantities of Provisional Sum items to ensure that the contractor is not overcharging the client.

  • Certifying Practical and Final completion of the works.

  • Certifying a release of Contract Securities.

  • Monthly assessment of contractor’s Progress Claims and preparation of Progress Payment Certificates.

Technical Aspects

  • Ensuring compliance with technical design documents by undertaking frequent technical inspections of hold points and works in progress. Preparation of site inspection reports to capture works undertaken at various stages.

  • Responding to RFIs from the contractor during the work progress. Issue of technical Site Instructions and contractual Directions, as required.

  • Review of handover documentation and certificates.

  • Preparation of the Defects List and review of rectification of the defects.
